  • Alfa Giulietta - Interactive Kiosk
    I worked as art director and Interaction designer on this project for the launch of Alfa Romeo Giulietta. This is an interface for 220 Interactive totem all around Italy positioned in the Alfa Romeo dealers.
    All the interface is controlled by a knob trought Arduino. By the Knob rotation and pressure, users are able to browse and select all the contents.

    There are 2 different areas:

  • wave |||| iPad application
    Wave is an application that allow user to create custom music playlist, in car domain. According to the passegers with a device, the application became a kind of Hub, it creates an automatic playlist, creating a match between the common music gender/artist/etc of the micro community.

    There's the possibility to share the playlist "on the road" with the marco community, or to receive push notification about possible tracks that matches the current playlist, from other drivers in proximity.

    The last part of the application is a game, that allow users to have a proper drive behaviour.
    Setting a song, the user can syncronize the music bpm of that song with the car speed (+ speed = - bpm) so to keep a correct music flow, the driver has to take care about the speed limit.

  • FRAME - The laboratory
    Frame is an Online Design laboratory for a community of 3 kind of actors: the designers - the university - the industries -

    Using the metaphor of the “laboratory”, Frame aims to create and support online design communities by offering collaboration tools and visibility to three categories of users: Designers, Universities and Companies.
    Frame acts as an idea incubator and as a platform where designers can trace the creative process, deposit documentation and resources and visualize each step of a project's progress.

    Each project is visualized as a polygon. Each face of the polygon represent a Project's team player and the colored aura, or "soul" around the project represents the activity level so that a user can quickly get visual feedback on the project status. Additional information, such as project description, is obtained by rolling over an inner side of a given polygon.

    The interface provides with visualization options such as grouping modalities, chronological order, project families, etc.

    As a collaborative platform Frame allow users to:

    - Set their availability (i'm traveling in NY for a week and am available on the net to meet up and be
    part of a specific task of the project process)
    - Define and build an International project team according to required skill-sets
    - Inspect the project process by accessing the information about the relation between people and documents in real time
    - Access, as a project initiator (industry), the design process overview, with the possibility of leaving comments and ratings
    - Develop their reputation based on publicly available evaluations and feedback from project leaders.

    Frame was selected as one of the 5 most relevant projects by The "Ministero Italiano di Politiche e Sviluppo"- Rome
    was exhibited at " La Triennale di Milano"- Milan
    was exhibited at "Design in Mostra" - Naples
    was written up on "Nova 24 del Sole 24" - insert on technology on Italian newspaper

  • Indesit -Scrivilo sul frigo - project pitch
    Project pitch for Indesit.

    According to the launch of the new Indesit fridge this concept is based on the metaphor of sticking post-it on the fridge.
    Each member of the community, using facebook connect, can post a message on the fridge and navigate the fridge wall aggregator, filtering messages by different parameters.

    According to "special events" the fridge wall aggregator can change the messages visualization into an emotional way.

  • Barilla.it web portal
    I worked as Art Director on this project of Barilla web portal and community.
    The project is based on a content aggregator that through different macrocategories (Tipical products, Recipe and menu, Regions, Itinerary, Nutrition, How To, Barilla products) shows the relationship between contents according to those different categories.
    Choosing a recipe, users can browse an overview of the content of the ingredients, the region of the recipe, how to make it, with which barilla's product is made, etc.
    All the contents are sharable, there's the possibility to download and print the pdf version of the recipe, to filter the content and to check the food dictionary.

    With the release 02 there will be the community part.

  • Hotpoint - iPad app and touchscreen for event
    iPad application and Touchscreen application for Hotpoint Ariston Brand.
    This App was made for a specific exibiton of all the Hotpoint's products in Rome at Cinecittà.

    Using the app, users can discover all the features and design style of the hotpoint's products and the brand values and technology, browsing contents as videos images and text esplanations.

  • Alfa Giulietta Real Experience - iPad
    Application for Alfa Romeo Giulietta to promote Real Experience event in different location around Italy.
    This event is for the Alfa Romeo Dealers to promote the Giulietta, giving to users the possibility to:
    °discover all the features of the car
    °discover performance details
    °request a test drive in 3 different modalties.

    The interface provide an interactive video experience.
    Users can swipe the car in 4 different point of view and each of them is showing different point of access to related content (video or Interactive pages)
    There is also a quick overview menu to the direct access to the contents pages, or to activate the automatic content tour mod. Selecting the content macrocategories, the tour starts navigating the app automatically.

    The app will be released soon also on the Apple store

  • Benetton - Augmented reality
    This was a project pitch for Benetton.
    The application was able trought a 2dbarcod reader to show in augemented reality media contents like models with Benetton clothes and to give all the information about the outfit composition.
    From the outfit details, people can choose the pice they like, add it into the wishlist, share it or find where to buy it with the colors and sizes avaiability.

    The other section of AR was able to show where the other POI where all around the city.
    There was also a news section and offline full catalogue

    Mircosite to support the events Giulietta Real Experience in different locations around italy.
    During this events, people using the Giulietta Real Experience app for iPad (take a look to this project) were able to request a test drive, and to download different itinerary on navigator control (TOM TOM - Garmin - etc) of italian regions.

    This microsite to gives the possibility to all the people, also the one haven't the possibility to be during the events, to request a test drive and to download the itinerary.

    My solutions are based on the concept of taking, and re-mix togheter, giving a new interpretation to the most significative elements of the already existing plus8 logotypes without choosing one.
    I defined one core of the logotype in using a new contemporay shape, and combining different elements all around, it will be a logo that rapresent all the evolution of the plus8 logotypes.

    I worked as Art Director and Interaction designer for this Facebook app for the launch of the new Gucci "sunglasses WEB".

    The app allows users to create in 3 simple step a video message.
    Starting from existing videos, users are able to choose:
    - The messanger from a variations of 3 Male and 3 Female
    - The mood that is represented by the sunglasses model
    - To customize the video with a personal message

    36 viral videos
    6 moods variations
    4 new sunglasses model for Man e Woman


    So after the video customization users can post this funny video on friends wall, or to send it as a private message

    I worked as Art director and Interaction designer on this web presence for the Sponsorship of CEV indesit Champions league.

    This project is based on a community where users can upload, share and comments and rate funny video that simulates volley action with the possibility to win the tickets for the Champions league final.

    After the registrations users are able to upload their video gallery, to browse all the videos form the community and to check the status of tournament.

    Abstract
    Define different interactive spaces inside the shop for provide information and suggestion to create a sort of communications among the brand and the clients offering them the opportunity to discover the well-match of products for support a total look of the brand.

    Objective
    Stimulate the customer to dress a total look of brand
    - Provide information about the products to customer in relation the well-matched of the those - Provide information about the products (price, material….)
    - Provide different experience to share with the costumer in relation to the season theme
    - Provide the playful of the shopping experience

    Concept
    The focus of our project is to provide visual informations of the relation between different products in the shop, or basic information of a selected product, translating the human behaviours into a actions to activate those.

    Purpose
    Create a funny and useful shopping experience for help the clients to discover the well-match of product for dress a brand total look

    Value and potential
    - Scale the project from the whole shop to a single special room where show a selected amount of products
    - Exploring other way to show the well-match of the products (ex. light in a dark room)
